He was very adamant and almost angry that I kept saying there wasn't anything. I logged in and there was no suspicious activity or pending purchases, and logged back out. They also said that the app was only "recording" the call. I guess I was thinking the app I downloaded was SUPER secure? Dumb. They insisted I used my phone to look because it was "more secure" vs. I was about to, and he kept talking like it was some type of an emergency! I said I was going to use my laptop to login. My husband told me to hang up, that he was hanging up too. I then merged my husband in on the call and he said, "I think you're the scammer here!" He then asked me to login my bank account to make sure there was no suspicious activity. She then immediately transferred me to "Mark Henry" (also a foreign accent) from "Amazon", concerned about a charge on my account, $999 for an iPhone purchased yesterday, on 11/28. Then, she somehow nonchalantly had me go to the Playstore and download AnyDesk, then AnyDesk Ad1. (We have separate accounts) She asked me to put my cell phone on speaker so I could access my accounts while still on the phone. I looked at mine and my husband's bank accounts, and there was nothing. Anyway, today, 11/29/21, I received a call from a lady with a foreign accent, stating that there is a concern with a pending purchase on my Amazon account, and that it looks suspicious. And I'm usually pretty good at picking out these types of scammers! I feel soooo dumb!!! On occasion, I do get calls from the bank asking about purchases, but they are always legit. I almost fell for this guy. Mind you, I NEVER answer UNKNOWN calls, but I was expecting a work related call at that moment.

I've read alot of posts about this AnyDesk Amazon scam fella, and I'm glad I'm not alone. Somewhat new to Reddit, needing some reassurance please.
